Experience:
Steven has been a full-time translator since 2003. Before that, he translated "on the side" while working as a software developer and IT support specialist. He was an in-house translator at the Magnum Group translation agency in Philadelphia from 2004 until 2006, when he founded his current business.
Today, Steven works extensively from Catalan to English, French to English, Portuguese to English and Spanish to English. He also has experience translating from Ladino (Judeo-Spanish) to English, mainly for historians and genealogists.
Several of his translations have been published. In addition, he is a writer, researcher and historian. His book Alternate Channels was a semifinalist for an American Library Association book award in 2001, and he served on the research teams for several documentaries seen on PBS television and the Bravo cable network.
